Mexico and Colombia were the most participative countries in the calls for TICAL and e-Ciencia

The Program Committee of the TICAL Conference and the 3rd Latin American Meeting of e-Science published the number of proposals received in the calls for papers of the events, closed on Tuesday May 28: there were 113 in total; 105 of TICAL and 8 of the Meeting of e-Science. Mexico, with 33 proposals, and Colombia, with 29, were the most participatory countries, followed by Ecuador, Brazil and Argentina.

The proposals will now be evaluated by the Scientific Committee and on July 8 the selected ones will be notified in order to receive the support of the organization to participate in the Conference, as previously agreed in the calls for each of the events.

TICAL2019 and the 3rd Latin American Meeting of e-Science will take place between September 2 and 4, at the Cancun International Convention Center (CancúnICC), in Cancun, Mexico.
